Can we install a linux bootloader from wtihin windows?

Hi,

I want to install a linux boot loader that will enable me to boot multiple partitions including windows or linux types, is there a program that will run in windows 10 that can do this? Having issues doing it from the linux cd, thanks in advance.

The only Windows tool I know of is EasyBCD, but that just uses the Windows boot loader to add Linux to the boot menu. For a Linux boot loader you'll need to do it from a Linux install or live disc.

The most common issue I see with boot loaders and booting in general is a mismatch in the firmware mode (legacy vs UEFI) and the media trying to load from.
