Having a problem restoring and adding programs to the Program Folder

I try and change the Security settings for the folder and I get an "Access denied error message".

Solution
Before you dash into altering the security tags on folders, perhaps you should read up on the new Vista unction folders. They are there for backward compatibility problems only (Such as "Documents and Settings")
To enable access can lead into a great deal of trouble and, in the worst cases, to a loss of files.
If you are interested, here is some info on the new locations.
