If you tried modifying it manually in regedit, I agree with ussnorway you may have hosed it. You maybe able to either reinstall or do a repair on all relative programs and hope it fixes the class associations. Then again Control Panel > Default Programs may fix the association, or you can use the command line utility assoc where the form is assoc .ext=filetype where the filetype would be a ProgOpenID as listed by just typing assoc
