It sounds like you are experiencing network visibility issues between your PCs in the same room. To troubleshoot and resolve this problem, you can follow these steps:

1. Check Network Discovery Settings:

  • Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center.
  • Click on "Change advanced sharing settings."
  • Make sure that Network Discovery is turned on for all PCs.

2. Check Workgroup Settings:

  • Ensure that all PCs are in the same workgroup. You can check this in Control Panel > System.

    3. Check Firewall Settings:

  • Disable the firewall temporarily on both PCs to see if it's causing the issue.

    4. Check IP Configuration:

  • Ensure that both PCs are on the same subnet. You can check this using Command...

    4. Check IP Configuration:

  • Ensure that both PCs are on the same subnet. You can check this using Command Prompt and the ipconfig command.

    5. Manually Map Network Drives:

  • If the PCs are still not visible, you can manually map network drives to access shared folders.
    • Right-click on "Computer" > "Map Network Drive" and enter the network path.
    • Make sure to check "Reconnect at logon" to ensure the drive is always mapped.

      6. Restart Network Services:

[]Sometimes restarting network services can help. Run the following commands in Command Prompt:
    Code:
net stop w32time net start w32time

    7. Verify Network Sharing Permissions:

    [
]Check the sharing permissions on the folders you want to access. Right-click on a folder > Properties > Sharing > Share. By following these steps, you should be able to establish network visibility between your PCs in the same room. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you encounter any issues along the way.
