When I go to "all videos" in the player there are a bunch of files(video) which I try to delete but nothing happens when I click on delete. They are no good as they won't open up. I am using vlc now. I tried disabling and restarted my computer but the files are still there. How do I clear them? Thanks.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with VLC media player where you are unable to delete certain video files from the "all videos" section. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve this issue:

Clearing Unwanted Video Files in VLC Media Player:

  1. Close VLC Player: Make sure VLC media player is not running in the background.
  2. Locate the Playlist: The "all videos" section you are referring to is likely the playlist in VLC. You can try to clear the playlist to remove the unwanted files. Here's how you can do it:
    • Open VLC media player.
    • Go to the "View" menu and select "Playlist" or press Ctrl + L to display the playlist.

[]Check File Permission: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to delete files from the playlist. If the files are read-only or protected, you might not be able to delete them. []Delete Files Manually: If clearing the playlist doesn't work, you can manually delete the files from your computer's storage. Here's how you can locate and delete the files:
    • Close VLC Media Player.
    • Navigate to the folder where the video files are stored.
    • Delete the unwanted video files directly from the folder.
[]Check Recycle Bin (Trash): After deleting the files, make sure to check the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (Mac) to ensure the files are permanently removed. []Reopen VLC: Once you have deleted the files, reopen VLC and check if the unwanted files are no longer listed in the "all videos" section. If you've tried these steps and the issue persists, there might be a configuration or cache issue with VLC. You can also consider reinstalling VLC to start fresh and see if that resolves the problem. Try these steps and let me know if you need further assistance!
