Windows 7 Cannot hear any sound.

Hi, I recently installed windows 7 around 2 hours ago and I previously had vista. My turtle beach x1(headset) was working on vista but currently I cannot hear anything anymore on windows 7. Any help would be appreciated and I will answer any questions to you need because I'm sure this isn't enough information for someone to help me. Oh, and I went into my teamspeak and I can see the green light go on when I talk so I think it's recognizing my headset but I just don't know why I can't hear sound.

When you click on you sound icon on the taskbar then click the volume slider.. does it show a flash of green at the bottom?
If you are seeig indication of sound coming in and goin out then you need to get another headset or some speakers and check.
