Windows 7 Cannot use word anymore?

i installed windows 7 on my laptop several weeks ago, i upgraded from vista. i use word regularly but because i have logged into it more than 25 times i have to enter my product key and for some reason it is saying it is wrong.
why is it saying it is wrong?
i really need to get on to word

Actually the suggestion to do a reformat and fresh install to Windows 7 may well be correct. Why? I had the same problem installing Microsoft Office 2007. Said serial number was incorrect. Reformatted eventually and happy me, the serial number then worked. Thats what happened to me anyway, and it may or may not work for you but. it's something to consider trying.
Most all of us agree that an upgrade is not the route to take. It leaves useless files on your system and can cause conflicts.

Save all you Documents, Pictures, contacts, videos, music, etc to a flash drive,

Be aware, you will need to re-install your 3rd party applications.

There is a poll going on now and "clean" install is winning by a mile.
 

??. Cybercore suggested reinstalling Office?? What "route" are you talking about?

Are you sure you're getting the correct number from the Office CD?

In other words, do you have the correct disk?
