It seems like you're facing an issue with the screen resolution on your Windows 7 system. Let's troubleshoot this step by step: 1. Check Graphics Driver: - Ensure that your ATI Radeon X1950 GT graphics driver is up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause resolution issues. You can check for the latest drivers on the AMD website. 2. Adjust Screen Resolution: - Right-click on your desktop and select "Screen resolution." - Choose the desired resolution (1440x900) from the list. - Make sure to set it as the primary display. 3. Scaling Options: - You might need to adjust scaling options in the graphics card settings. Sometimes, there are options to scale the image to fit the screen. 4. Monitor Settings: - Check...

Monitor Settings: - Check your Samsung SyncMaster 226BW monitor settings. Some monitors have settings that control the aspect ratio or scaling of the screen. Adjust as needed. 5. Custom Resolution (if needed): - If the standard options don't work, you can try creating a custom resolution through your graphics card control panel. 6. Restart System: - After making changes, restart your system to ensure the settings are applied correctly. If these steps don't resolve the issue, feel free to let me know so we can explore further options to help you achieve the desired resolution on your system.
