Is it possible to change a user's AD password using Office 365 Cloud (office.com)? I'm working on a laptop for a remote user, and I don't want to call him to ask what his current Windows login is.

Solution
If you enabled password write-back under Azure Active Directory > Password Reset > On-premises Integrations
Then you can reset them in Azure and they should sync back the hashes to your on-prem DC(s)

Then you can do password resets through

SSPR provided you set that up too.

It can be changed through OWA or Azure SSPR if it's enabled.

I'm able to sign into outlook.office.com. How do I change my Windows (Active Directory) password from there?

Then it's hybrid. If you don't have password write-back then you have to reset the password on-prem.
