Color tags inside code boxes don't work

Any way to fix this? The BSOD apps were written with the color's embedded inside of the code boxes.

It works when I preview it but then disappears when I actually submit the post.
Applying the color bbc brackets outside the bbc code brackets seems to work

In general, [COLOR] should not work in inside CODE brackets.

The point of using the CODE brackets, is to show code, even if it includes
bracketed content like BBCode.

The goal is not to parse anything.
