Windows 7 colours fuzzy in fullscreen game

I installed Windows 7 the other day and when I tried to play Action Quake 2 the game came up and you could see the menu but the colours were all fuzzy. I latter remembered I was using the software renderer and switched to the OpenGL renderer and everything was great. But I still have this problem on a couple other computers that cant run the OpenGL renderer.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
