It seems like you are experiencing a couple of issues with Windows 7 related to running games in windowed mode and restoring Firefox after minimizing it while playing a game. Let's address each of these concerns:

Running Games in Windowed Mode without Admin Rights:

To enable running games in windowed mode without requiring admin rights every time, you can try the following steps:
  • Compatibility Mode:
  • Right-click on the game's executable file.
  • Go to Properties > Compatibility tab.
  • Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
  • Select a previous Windows version like Windows XP or Vista.

  • Modify Registry Settings: (Please ensure you are comfortable with modifying the Windows registry before proceeding)
  • Press Windows Key + R, type "regedit" and hit Enter.
  • Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers.
  • Right-click on an empty space on the right side and choose New > String Value.
  • Set the name as the full path of the game's executable (e.g., C:\Path\To\Game.exe).
  • Double-click the new string value and enter "~RUNASADMIN".
  • Restart your computer and see if the game now runs in windowed mode without needing admin rights.

Restoring Firefox after Minimizing:

When you have trouble restoring Firefox after minimizing it during gaming sessions, try these steps:
  • Alt + Tab: Pressing Alt + Tab keys together can help you switch between open applications. This might bring back Firefox to the forefront.
  • Windows Shortcut: Try pressing the Windows key on your keyboard to see if it brings up the taskbar where Firefox might be minimized.
  • Task Manager:
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Look for Firefox under the Applications tab.
  • Right-click on Firefox and choose "Switch To" to bring it back into view.
  • Shortcuts: Ensure you don't have any unusual software or extensions causing this issue by running Firefox in Safe Mode (Help > Restart with Add-ons disabled). Feel free to try these suggestions and let me know if you encounter any difficulties or if you need further assistance!
