Hi,

If any of you are adept at using a face swapping application on either windows or linux and are available for answering any questions should I need advice, would you please suggest some? My graphics card isn't great (I deliberately keep old one so that it is silent) so probably would want one that can use a cpu instead as I understand some prefer to use graphics cards. Thanks in advance.

If you are looking for face swapping applications that work well using CPU processing instead of relying heavily on a dedicated GPU, you can consider the following options suitable for both Windows and Linux systems:

Face Swap Apps without Heavy GPU Dependency:

  1. OpenFaceSwap: This is an open-source face swapping tool that can work efficiently even with limited GPU capabilities. It provides detailed tutorials and a reliable platform for face swapping projects. It's suitable for both Windows and Linux.
  2. Deepfakes Forum - DFL Face Swapping: There are several tools available in the deepfakes community that support face swapping. DFL is one such tool that offers various configuration options to optimize performance...

  3. DeepFaceLab: While DeepFaceLab is often associated with GPU usage, you can adapt the configuration to run on the CPU. It provides great flexibility for face swapping projects and has guides to adjust settings for CPU processing effectively.
  4. Faceswap: Faceswap is another popular choice that can work well on systems with limited GPU capacity. It offers detailed documentation and community support to help you get started. These applications offer face swapping functionalities and tutorials that cater to different computational resources, including machines with CPU-centric processing capabilities. Always ensure you follow ethical guidelines and legal regulations when using such technology.
