hi,

I have 2 gtx 670 sli'd and i5 3570k oc'ed with oc genie.
yesterday i hooked up my 4k tv together with my 3 monitors(1920/1080) and when i put the resolution on my tv to 4k(3840/2160) i get forced to windows classic mode.
it works when i put the resolution to 1920/1080 though.
I've had this setup working by connecting my monitors to both graphics cards and sli disabled but then my screens have like 15 fps.
i already set my advanced system settings to performance and restarted the dwm service. doesn't help.
i can't imagine my gtx 670's not being able to handle 3 screens + 4k screen.
but maybe i'm just a dumb f***k.
help plz.
thx

Solution
It seems like you are encountering a graphics issue when using a 4K resolution display alongside multiple 1920x1080 monitors with GTX 670 SLI configuration. Here are a few suggestions to help address the problem: 1. Driver Update: Ensure you have the latest drivers for your GTX 670 graphics cards. NVIDIA regularly releases driver updates that could resolve compatibility issues with newer displays and setups. 2. SLI Configuration: SLI can sometimes cause issues with non-standard setups. Try disabling SLI temporarily to see if the problem persists with just one GPU driving the displays. 3. Monitor Configuration: Check that the DisplayPort or HDMI connections to your 4K TV support a 4K resolution at 60Hz. Also, confirm...
It seems like you are encountering a graphics issue when using a 4K resolution display alongside multiple 1920x1080 monitors with GTX 670 SLI configuration. Also, confirm the types of connections and adapters you are using to connect the monitors and TV. 4. Refresh Rate: Ensure that the refresh rate for the 4K TV is set to 60Hz and matches the capabilities of the display. 5. Scaling Settings: Adjust the scaling settings in Windows Display Settings. Sometimes, certain scaling configurations can cause compatibility issues, especially with mixed-resolution displays. 6. SLI Compatibility: SLI is optimized for gaming performance and may have limitations with certain setups. Test different configurations to identify if SLI is causing the issue. 7. Monitor Test: If possible, test each monitor individually to ensure they are all functioning correctly. Sometimes a rogue monitor can trigger compatibility problems in multi-monitor setups. 8. Overclocking: If you have applied significant overclocks, try reverting to default settings to check if stability improves with the 4K setup. If the issue persists after these steps, you may need to experiment further with different configurations, test with only the 4K display, or seek assistance from NVIDIA support for SLI-specific troubleshooting with mixed monitors and 4K resolutions.
