I have a Samsung n220 netbook running Windows 7 Starter, Is it possible to disable the key click on the keyboard?

Hi there,

What is the "key click" you're talking about? Is the OS producing a sound whenever you press a key on the keyboard? Does this happen only in some programs, or all the time?

Cheers,

Key Click

Thanks for the reply. The noise that's annoying people is the clicking noise coming from the mouse buttons on the mouse pad. I thought it was from the keys but it's not. I don't think there's anything I can do about it, because they make the same noise when the machine's switched off. I've started tapping the mouse pad instead.

Norman

This could be solved in two ways, the first post is Windows 7 specific, the second is generic and should work with most Windows versions:

1. Disable Click Sound in Internet Explorer IE and Windows 7 x64 and x86

2. Disable click noise in Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer

cheers
