I need an expert who knows MS windows and the mail systems.
Please read this carefully as I streamlined the problem as much as possible.
This is on my Desktop computer.
I want to disconnect my GMail account from that annoying Microsoft window for Outlook. I read GMail in Chrome.
If I do, will I lose all access to my Gmail in Windows?
Background:
1. I changed my GMail password. Now there is a constant Windows error message
"Your GMail account settings are out of date".
2. MS Windows wants me to give them control over my GMail account. I would rather delete my GMail from their Outlook client without losing access to GMail on my desktop.
Will I lose all ability to read my GMail in Chrome or any other browser? Because that would be a catastrophe for me.
Thank you.
