Windows 7 Does W7 Create Image wipe destination drive?

I can't find any info saying whether the backup drive (during a create system image backup) will become a clone of the OS drive, or whether a system image file will be saved on the backup drive. Anyone know?

Also, can more than one system image be saved on the backup drive, and can you select which one will be used when recovering an entire system image?

It will not clone... that's why I think it's lame and I don't use it. True image WILL clone perfectly and there is a free version on the WD website that works if at least one of your drives is WD or Segate.

here is a lot of info about system image... Your assignment is to memorize it and make a condensed report for my blog.. I may give you credit if you do a good job.
