Windows 8 EFS certificate lost , please help

Hello All,
I have windows 8.1 pro,

Before 4 years my friend did clean install of windows 8.1pro from windows 7 ,

I have 5-6 documents which i had encrypted with efs .

My friend forgot to take back up of efs key certificate,

Now i can't open without efs key certificate,

Please help me to recover documents.

You can try this, but it's not likely that you would be able to decrypt the files without the key
