Windows 7 Error 0x80300024 message on install

hi
upgrading my 32 bit vista to 64 bit Windows 7, will not run through vista, so have run the compatibility tool and it say that I can up grade. So shut down and start up with the CD in drive it starts up goes past the install and asks me which drive to in stall it. Tried putting it on the C drive and it come up with error 0x80300024 have partitioned the have of the drive erased it formatted it and tried to put it on there but still the same message.

Can you help.

If you have more then one hard drive or any USB drives try disconnecting all of them until you are done Installing.

This worked for a number of people having this problem.

Actually it's what my computer manufacturer Falcon NW told me to do a month ago when I put a new SSD in my computer and installed Windows 10 on it.

It's what I did, everything went smoothly.

This error can be solved by disconnecting storage devices that is using SATA on the motherboard except the drive where OS is being installed.
