Solution
To ensure that your computer is connecting via the desired network (Home 5) instead of the WiFi extender when using Ethernet, you can follow these steps: 1. Network Settings: - Right-click on the network icon in the system tray and select "Open Network & Internet settings." - Go to "Ethernet" on the left sidebar. - Click on the network profile associated with the Home 5 network and prioritize it. 2. Network Prioritization: - If you see both networks (Home 5 and WiFi extender) on the Ethernet connection, set Home 5 as the default or higher priority. 4. Connection Order Adjustment: - In the Network Connections window, search for Advanced > Advanced Settings. - Set the network connection priority so that Home 5 is at the top of the list. 5. Network Reset: - Disable other network connections temporarily while ensuring only Home 5 is active for Ethernet. 6. Specific Network Configuration: - Check your router settings to ensure the proper configuration for Home 5 network recognition. By prioritizing and ensuring that the Home 5 network configuration is established correctly in the network settings, you can direct your computer to connect via the desired connection even while using Ethernet.
