This started happening a few days ago. All of a sudden, my computer would be act really sluggish and I'd look at the task manager and see that under processes, explorer.exe is taking up most of my 16GB of RAM.
It started happening after I was trying to play counter STrike after I had installed zone alarm firewall, my computer crashed a few times because the firewall would prevent the game from receiving data. I had to do a hard reset while the screen was frozen.
I have run Ccleaner, spybot, Tddskiller, avira and no viruses found or malware. I did a complete defrag. If I reset my computer, it'd be fine for awhile .I can't narrow down to where the problem starts happening. Every driver is updated. Windows 7 64 bit is updated to current.
What can I do to fix this problem besides resintalling Windows 7?
