Windows 7 Fallout 3 issues W7, 7 7000 build

had it already installed before W7 upgrade.
tried to play, launcher would just restart over and over.
re-installed the game, patched, etc. same thing happening
even in Admin mode or compatibility mode.
anyone else having this issue with Fallout 3?

What's your video card?

If you're using pre-beta drivers...you might want to look for updates. In my case, fallout3 was looping because of an error in reading the name "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (prerelease - WDDM 1.1)...the dash is what your suppose to have...but my older drivers used -- (forgot what it's called when you combine 2 dashes). After updating, it became a dash and it worked...try it.

Core 2 Quad 6600 stock
gigabyte X38 DS4 board
4gigs kingston hyper x
Radeon 3870x2 crossfired with 3870
using ATI drivers 9.1 beta for Windows 7.

i will try that later when im not at work
