Some of my favorite internet pages have same icons instead of having their own logo or identitiy.

How can I fix this issue ? Your replies will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello kachori, It sounds like you're encountering a common issue where some of your favorite internet pages are displaying the same icons instead of their unique logos or identities. This issue usually occurs due to the browser's cache or the website's favicon settings. Here are some steps you can take to try and fix this problem:

Steps to Fix the Issue of Same Icons for Different Websites:

  1. Clear Browser Cache:
    • Sometimes, browsers store cached data, including icons (favicons), which can lead to displaying the wrong icons. Try clearing your browser cache to see if that resolves the issue.
    []Reload the Page:
    • Simply refreshing or reloading the webpage might force the browser to fetch the correct favicon for the website.
    [
    ]Check Website Settings:
    • The issue could be on the website's end. Contact the website administrator to confirm whether they have set up their favicon correctly.
    []Use a Different Browser:
    • If the problem persists, try accessing the websites from a different browser to see if the icons display correctly there.
    [
    ]Reset Browser Settings:
    • If clearing the cache doesn't work, consider resetting your browser to its default settings. This step should be taken cautiously as it will reset all your settings.
    []Disable Browser Extensions:
    • Sometimes, browser extensions or add-ons can interfere with how icons are displayed. Try disabling them one by one to identify any conflicting extensions.
    [
    ]Manually Add Website Icons:
    • You can manually add the correct website icon by navigating to the website and saving the favicon image. Then, you can use a browser extension or the browser settings to set it as the icon for the website.

      Additional Notes:

      • If the issue persists after trying these steps, ensure that your browser is up to date.
      • Check if the websites in question have issues with their server configurations that might be affecting the loading of icons.
Try these steps and let me know if you still encounter the issue or need further assistance!
