When I have file explorer open it refreshes every five seconds or so. If I'm scrolling through pictures, it's constantly jumping back to the top of the file....it's infuriating!!! I can't even rename files or create file names unless I am lightning quick. I am at a loss as to what to do...and since I'm a photographer this is making organizing and maintaining client files painfully difficult!

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I'm about to throw this bloody thing through a window!

Thats interesting. Try going to 'Folder Options' and select 'Restore Defaults' in all the three tabs(General/View/Search).

EDIT: Since you have windows 10, try turning off color accent change. Right click on desktop> Go to personalize > Colors > Turn off 'Automatically pick an accent color.'

Let me know if it works.
