Solution
In Windows 7, when you open a file like a video or picture, it typically opens in the default application associated with that file type. If it's opening in the background, there might be some issue with focus settings or another program taking the foreground. Here's how you can troubleshoot and potentially change this behavior: 1. Taskbar Settings: Right-click on the Taskbar, go to "Properties," and check the "Auto-hide the taskbar" setting. If it's turned on, turning it off might help with focus issues. 2. File Association: Make sure your file associations are correct. Right-click on a file, choose "Open With," and select the appropriate default program. This should ensure the file opens in the foreground. 3. Window...

Check for any pop-ups, notifications, or programs running in the background that might be causing this behavior. 4. Alt+Tab: If a window opens in the background, try pressing "Alt+Tab" to cycle through open windows and bring the desired window to the foreground. 5. System Restart: Sometimes, restarting your computer can resolve background focus issues caused by temporary glitches. By checking these settings and ensuring the correct default application is set for file types, you should be able to resolve the issue of files opening in the background.
