Windows 7 First install GeForce 8600 GT not working 100%

Just installed my first copy of Windows Build 7600 Ultimate , and installed the video drivers for my 8600GT GeForce

I notice a degeneration in the AVI MPEG video playback , which I never had in XP ...

I correctly installed Graphic card drivers and some Codecs , but it should run smoothly.

I can a slight pixelation while praying video

which version graphic drivers did you install?

i did that and am asking after the fact, could it have to do with Directx drivers?

I guess installing them wouldn't hurt, what about your other drivers such as chipset and sound. These can also effect performance so it's worth having the latest versions.
