I have a brand new ACER computer. When using my flight sim, I have problems landing and taking off. To land on the centre line is a no no. The run way lurches from left to right and is not at all stable. My old computer was 7 years old and flight sim was no problem. HELP!

    Performance Optimization:

  3. Background Apps: Close any unnecessary background apps when running the flight simulator. This can free up system resources and improve performance.
  4. Power Settings: Make sure your computer is in high-performance mode when running the flight simulator. This can help ensure that the system provides optimal performance.

    Compatibility Settings:

  5. Compatibility Mode: Try running the flight simulator in compatibility mode. Right-click on the game's shortcut, go to Properties, and then to the Compatibility tab. Try running it in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.

    Hardware Check:

  6. System Temperature: Check if your system is overheating during gameplay. Overheating can cause performance issues. Make sure your system has adequate cooling.

    Reinstall and Update:

  7. Reinstall the Game: If none of the above steps work, you could try reinstalling the flight simulator to see if that resolves the issue.
  8. Game Updates: Check for any updates or patches for the flight simulator. Sometimes, updating the game can fix performance-related issues.

    Community Advice:

  9. Forums and Communities: Reach out to online flight simulator communities or forums for specific advice on optimizing the simulator for your new computer and any known compatibility issues. These steps should help you troubleshoot the stability and control issues you're facing with the flight simulator on your new Acer computer. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance!
