Windows 7 Freezing on Welcome Screen

Hi everyone,

I just got a new computer which is great except it keeps freezing on the Welcome screen when I start it up. Sometimes I just reboot and it'll work but sometimes I have to leave it for a few hours and come back and it'll work. Any ideas?

My specs are:
Gigabyte GA-P55-USCB3 motherboard
Intel i7-870 Core i7 CPU (2.93 GHz)
Seagate SATA2 1TB HDD
8GB DDR3 Elixer/Corsair 1333MHz RAM
nVidia GeForce GTX 480
Windows 7 Premium 64bit

right click on My computer click on Manage go on disck management and check if system partition is primary and active also check your harddrive is installed as your mobo requires
