Hello,

Been months now my new PC keep getting Blue Screen/Restart/Freeze even when left idle without warnings

I have multiple problems which occur on daily basis. Here's the list:
  1. PC is freezing playing games
  2. PC restarts while being idle
  3. BSODs mostly when playing but sometimes completely randomly
I've tried many things from reinstalling Windows to updating drivers but nothing helped.
It also cause my multiple file being corrupted while BDOSed during working.

wish can help with my issue thanks!

Hi,
almost all your dump files are bugcheck 124's and machine check exceptions. This basically means a hardware error occured with the processor, usually down to overheating.

What are you running cooler wise?

If your overclocking the cpu please go back to default values.

Run this diagnostic test:
Download Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool

Hi,
Thanks for replying

For cooler it will be Hyper 212 LED Turbo

Ihave never adjusted this nor heard it =( How do i reset to default value if wanted to?

here is the test result

Hi,
what are your temps like?
Use something like HWiNFO64 to monitor cpu temps when gaming.

Checking your dumps again i noticed this:

BiosVersion = F4
BiosReleaseDate = 06/14/2018
SystemManufacturer = Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
SystemProductName = B360M-D2V

Current Bios release stands at F14a so your missing a fair few updates.
B360M D2V (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.K.

If your unsure on how to flash the bios then wait and let me know.

Hi,

I am using firestorm to monitor my temp too everytime it freeze the tem are 50~70

No i dont know how to flash the bios please advice =) thanks

I have a hunch that your bsod's are related to the bios as many of the updates relate to 9000 series CPU like yours.

Do you have a friend who could help with the process or is there a pc store close which would flash the bios for you?

You can find instructions relating to the bios in your motherboard manual, give it a read and see what you think:
https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b360-features.pdf

I have successfully flashed the latest update to the BIOS will contact if the problem still persist thanks for now!

Many thanks for the update and great to hear all is going well.

We never close threads so pop back if issues crop up again.
