Windows 7 Getting rid of the "Get Windows 10" prompt

Microsoft has stuck an icon into my tray representing the "Get Windows 10" notification. I wouldn't mind it if it just sat there but it periodically pops up with a message on my screen above the icon to "Get Windows 10", and is turning into a major annoyance. How can I get rid of this annoyance ?
 
Solution
Re-install Windows then say no to Microsoft when asked to download the patch it is attached to... you could also get Windows 10 and then that icon will depart but Microsoft REALLY wants people to have it once it is on there.

Solution
Reinstalling Windows7 is not an option. Really nice of Microsoft to create software that periodically hassles end-users to upgrade.
