Windows 8 Graphic card is very hot

Is there a game running in the background? If so thats fine, I think they're good upto around 95c

Yeah RuneScape client.
What happens if it reaches 95c will my computer shut down or will the graphic card crash and close the games I am playing?

Graphics driver should reset to keep the card from damaging itself. You could check for dust in the fans for the card and clean them. Get a can of air and blow any dust from the heatsink would also possibly help to lower temps.
