I just installed an update for my computer and have this issue where there are extra quick selection links in my file explorer and they are blank. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix this? I have scanned my computer for any viruses and it is clean. I am running 64 bit windows 10. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

It could also be a virus or malware. Try the CCleaner first as Pat suggests. It's more likely a virus; if your installed AV program doesn't find it, you should download the free MALWAREBYTES antispyware program from Link Removed. Scan and remove all found spyware viruses. Power off your computer for 5 min. and reboot. Problem should be gone if source cause was a virus/malware and you are good to go!

Try running Ccleaner, it includes an option to remove empty files and folders. Free downlaod from here if you don't already have it:

I didn't even think about using CCleaner. However I do not see the remove empty files and folders option. Where would it be?
