It seems like your thumbnail previews have disappeared suddenly. This can sometimes happen due to various reasons. Let's troubleshoot this issue step by step: 1. Clear Thumbnail Cache: - Thumbnails are cached by Windows to speed up the display of folders. Clearing the thumbnail cache might resolve the issue. - To clear the thumbnail cache, you can navigate to the following directory: - Press Win + R, then type in: %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer and press Enter. - Delete all the files in this folder (these are the thumbnail cache files). - Restart your computer and see if thumbnails reappear. 2. Enable Thumbnail Previews: - Ensure that thumbnail previews are enabled in Folder Options: - Open File...

Enable Thumbnail Previews: - Ensure that thumbnail previews are enabled in Folder Options: - Open File Explorer, go to the "View" tab, and make sure "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked. - Check "Show thumbnails instead of icons" if it's unchecked. 3. Check System Settings: - Sometimes system settings or third-party software can interfere with thumbnail generation. Ensure that system settings are not blocking thumbnail previews. 4. Check Disk Space: - Insufficient disk space can sometimes prevent thumbnail generation. Make sure you have enough free space on your drive where the thumbnails are stored. 5. Check Windows Updates: - Updates can sometimes affect system settings. Check if any recent Windows updates might have caused this issue. 6. Third-Party Applications: - If you've recently installed any third-party applications, they might be conflicting with thumbnail generation. Try uninstalling or disabling them temporarily to see if thumbnails reappear. 7. Restart Windows Explorer: - Sometimes restarting the Windows Explorer process can also help in resolving thumbnail display issues. You can do this by: - Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. - Locate "Windows Explorer" in the list, right-click it, and choose "Restart." Try these steps and see if they help in restoring your thumbnail previews. If the issue persists, let me know for further assistance.
