Windows 10 Home to Pro

Hi,

I have 2 copies of Windows 10, 1 Home, 1 Pro.

I have Home installed on one machine and the other is not yet installed.

I want to upgrade the Home to Pro and use the Home on another machine.

Can I use my pro license key to upgrade the Home (so that I don't have to reinstall everything) and then install Home on my other machine using it's original code?

Yes, from a command prompt type slui 3 enter the Pro key and it should install all the necessary components.

Thanks, and my version of Home will be freed up to install on another machine?

If it's a retail license then yes, if it is OEM (came with the computer then no it is tied to that computer)
