Windows 7 Homegroup always needs refreshing

The Homegroup on my new Win 7 laptop and existing PC works fine, but only after I've been through the Homegroup troubleshooter to refresh the network.

After either the PC or laptop is turned off (and then on again, obviously!), I have to go through the troubleshooter again before the Homegroup libraries appears.

Not the end of the world, just inconvenient, any ideas?
