Since changing to windows 7 64 the wifi and performance butons at the top of the notebook (and the various fn keys).
I have contacted rock and Asus for support, but was told there is no support for windows 7 because the system was designed for vista.
has anyone got these keys working or know how to help.
thank you :)

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Check for Driver Updates: - Visit the official ASUS support website and look for driver updates specifically designed for Windows 7 64-bit for your laptop model. 2. Install Hotkey Utility: - ASUS laptops often require a Hotkey Utility to enable the functionality of the function keys. Ensure that you have this utility installed and updated for Windows 7. 3. Function Key Settings: - Check the BIOS settings of your laptop to see if there are options related to the function keys. Sometimes, there are settings in the BIOS that need to be configured for these keys to work correctly. 4. Compatibility Mode: - You can try running the drivers or utilities in compatibility mode for Windows Vista. Right-click on the installer, go to Properties, and then Compatibility tab to set it to run as if on Windows Vista. 5. Third-Party Applications: - If the above steps do not work, you might consider using third-party applications that allow custom remapping of function keys. 6.
