Windows 7 How are people getting that MAC10 looking icons thing in the screenshots i see here?

how are people getting stuff like this....

or this sort of thing.. I can not work out how to do it.. basically i can only see the starbar as it was in vista?

See they seam to hav a kind of mac10 looking starbar thing.. and the first image seasm to have a icon that opens its own start bar kind of thing?

I use Star-docks Object Desktop program which comes with various programs for customizing you computer, I also use winstep extreme to change my start bar
