Hallo!I recently migrated from using Windows XP to Windows Vista.Normally I download extra-large size software and movies throughout the night as I am sleeping. In XP,the downloads proceeded well but in Vista,as soon as leave my computer alone,it locks itself and disconnects the dial-up connection that I am using thus I cannot download anything at night.

Thus,I need to find a way to disable the Windows Vista lock function so that I can download at night. How do I go about achieving this?

If you open your control panel and then power options you should be able to configure the laptop to not turn off.
