If you just want the thing to run then install it as a V-machine on hyper-v. + hyper-v comes free with windows 8.1 pro and is very easy to turn on. - the mac os will not have full control of your system... the basic difference is the graphics card so high end games will not like this setup.
A more expensive option is vm-ware workstation... install the mac os on this and you can give it full control of the system g-card for game playing. + is designed to work on older systems like 7 or xp so may be better if you have them in your network. - uses more cpu and ram to run than hyper-v and of course isn't free... there are demo options but mac to windows is tricky and beyond what they can allow.
To be clear, mac and windows are not going to play nice together outside a V setup.
