If you just want the thing to run then install it as a V-machine on hyper-v.
+ hyper-v comes free with windows 8.1 pro and is very easy to turn on.
- the mac os will not have full control of your system... the basic difference is the graphics card so high end games will not like this setup.
A more expensive option is vm-ware workstation... install the mac os on this and you can give it full control of the system g-card for game playing.
+ is designed to work on older systems like 7 or xp so may be better if you have them in your network.
- uses more cpu and ram to run than hyper-v and of course isn't free... there are demo options but mac to windows is tricky and beyond what they can allow.
To be clear, mac and windows are not...
