To resolve the issue of not having permission to view a shared folder on your networked Windows 7 computers, you can follow these steps to adjust the folder's permissions: 1. Share Permissions: - Right-click on the folder you want to share and select "Properties." - Go to the "Sharing" tab and click on the "Advanced Sharing" button. - Check the box that says "Share this folder." - Click on the "Permissions" button to set the share permissions. Make sure that the appropriate users or groups have the necessary permissions. 2. Security Permissions: - In the folder properties, go to the "Security" tab. - Click on the "Edit" button to adjust the security permissions. - Add the users or groups that need access to the folder and...

Security Permissions: - In the folder properties, go to the "Security" tab. - Click on the "Edit" button to adjust the security permissions. - Add the users or groups that need access to the folder and configure the permissions accordingly (e.g., Read, Write, Full Control). 3. Network Sharing Settings: - Check your network sharing settings to ensure that network discovery and file sharing are turned on. You can find these settings in the Network and Sharing Center. 4. HomeGroup: - If you are using a HomeGroup, make sure that both computers are part of the same HomeGroup and that the shared resources are correctly configured within the HomeGroup settings. 5. Firewall and Antivirus: - Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can interfere with sharing permissions. Make sure that your firewall settings allow for file and printer sharing. 6. Reconnect to the Shared Folder: - After adjusting the permissions, try reconnecting to the shared folder from the other computer to see if the issue is resolved. By adjusting the share and security permissions for the folder, ensuring network sharing settings are correctly configured, checking HomeGroup settings, and ensuring there are no firewall or antivirus software blocking the sharing, you should be able to resolve the permission issue and access the shared folder successfully. If you encounter any specific errors or difficulties during this process, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
