Solution
Transferring documents between your laptop and iPhone when connected to the same WiFi hotspot can be achieved through various methods. Here are a few options you can explore: 1. Using Cloud Storage Services: You can upload the documents to a cloud storage service like Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, or OneDrive from your laptop. Using File Sharing Apps: There are several file-sharing apps available that allow you to transfer files wirelessly between devices on the same network. Examples include AirDrop (for Apple devices) and third-party apps like SHAREit, Xender, or Feem. Regarding the new iOS 8 instant hotspot feature, Instant Hotspot allows you to quickly connect your iPhone to your MacBook without entering a password for the Personal Hotspot. This is especially useful when you need to share an internet connection from your iPhone to your MacBook. However, Instant Hotspot does not directly facilitate file transfers between devices. For transferring documents specifically, using a cloud storage service or a file-sharing app would be more suitable. These methods offer a convenient and secure way to transfer files between your laptop and iPhone wirelessly.
