It seems like you are encountering an issue while trying to install an ISO from your local drive onto a Hyper-V virtual machine in Azure. The error message you provided states that the installation was not successful due to the specified path being invalid. Here are few steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue: 1. Check Path and Permissions: - Ensure that the path you are specifying to access the ISO file is correct. Check if you have the necessary permissions to access the file. - Try moving the ISO file to a different location that is easily accessible or specify the complete path to the ISO in the Hyper-V configuration. 2. Check Path and Permissions: - Ensure that the path you are specifying to access the ISO file is correct. Check if you have the necessary permissions to access the file. - Try moving the ISO file to a different location that is easily accessible or specify the complete path to the ISO in the Hyper-V configuration. 2. Verify Network and Connection: - Ensure that your RDP connection is stable and not causing any interruptions during the ISO file transfer. - Check the network connectivity to your local drive and Azure VM to ensure smooth data transfer. 3. Azure Configuration: - Make sure that your Azure VM configuration allows the installation of Hyper-V features and additional roles like AD. - Check the Azure network settings and security groups to allow traffic necessary for the Hyper-V installation and configuration. 4. Use Azure Managed Disks: - Instead of using a local drive to transfer the ISO, consider utilizing Azure Managed Disks for storing and accessing the ISO files directly from Azure storage. 5. Alternative Installation Methods: - If the direct ISO transfer is problematic, consider using Azure Blob storage for the ISO or uploading it to a shared drive accessible within Azure. - You can also try mounting the ISO directly from an Azure storage account using a URL. 6. Consult Azure Support: - If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Azure support for further assistance and troubleshooting this installation problem with Hyper-V on your Azure VM. By following these steps and ensuring proper configurations, you should be able to resolve the issue and successfully install the ISO on your Hyper-V virtual machine in Azure. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or encounter any other challenges during the setup process.
