Solution patcooke Jun 20, 2011 It may be that one ofthe files is missing from the boot drive - try copying from the xp install cd to the drive you're trying to boot from: COPY X:\i386\NTLDR Y:\ COPY X:\i386\NTDETECT.COM Y:\ where X is the drive letter of your cd and Y is the drive letter of the device you're trying to boot from.
