Solution
It seems like you're experiencing an issue with downloading files on Windows 7 RC where the download completes but the file doesn't open afterward. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot this issue: 1. Check the Browser Downloads: - Open the browser you are using and check the downloads section to see if the file you downloaded is listed there. You should be able to click on the filename in the downloads section to open the file. 2. Navigate to the Downloads folder on your system and see if the file is located there. 4. Security Software: - Your security software might be blocking the file from opening. Try disabling any security software temporarily and download the file again to see if it opens. 5. Try a Different Browser: - If you're experiencing this issue with a specific browser, try using a different browser to see if the problem persists. 6. Update Windows 7 RC: - Ensure that your Windows 7 RC installation is up to date with the latest patches and updates. Sometimes, system updates can resolve issues related to file handling. 7. File Corruption: - It's possible that the file you downloaded is corrupt. Try downloading a different file to see if the issue occurs with all downloads or just specific ones. Try these steps and let me know if any of them help resolve the issue with opening downloaded files.
