Windows 7 Install twice On Same Computer?

i'm not sure i will want to install Windows 7 Pro for keeps, so i was going to install Windows 7 pro on my computer on an older, clean drive. if most of my 32-bit programs run well, i want to go ahead and remove that old drive and use my better drive in that computer.

would that be considered 2 installations and thus not work?

You can either completely reinstall on the new drive or clone the installation from the old drive to the new. If you have updates and apps installed the cloning is probably the best way.
