Hi, I'm trying to install a game that uses InstallShield as the installer, and the GUI opens for a moment, then a dialog box opens and says, "The InstallShield engine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched. Class not registered."
I looked around the web for a little bit for some answers. The first solution I came across was to do a manual install of iKernel.exe, but it also uses the InstallShield wizard, so I can't do that. I've also tried running the game install and the iKernel install as administrator, to no avail. I also found something that told me to go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield, so I went looking but I couldn't even find that folder. Any help?
