I am unclear from the layout where the text box is located to write this introduction; I trust that I am in the right place.

So, I've been a Windows user, exclusively, for a good few years, through W7, W10 and W11 Pro. Mostly an enjoyable experience, except for the conflicting Windows updates that throw up problems.

I'm looking forward to all my future Windows unsolved problems being 'sorted' by the many experts gathering here.

I'm a retired senior with maybe above moderate knowledge of the workings of things digital, with a stout dislike of AI ! I look forward to being an active member and hopefully make a contribution to the community. I am having a hard time with migrating to Windows 11 Pro on both Laptop & Desktop PCs, which appears to be one of Microsoft's "off" years by all accounts.
