Windows 8 Is Chrome Using Correct Proxy Settings for My Gateway and Private Network?

I just installed Chrome and under advanced settings it says it is using my computer's proxy setting to connect to the internet. I have a gateway and a private network.
is this setting they advise me about(proxy) correct?

Mine say's the same. I think it just means it's using your default settings to connect to the net. If you notice you can change those settings so it uses say a wi-fi connection or something like that.

Just knowing your setting is the same is reassuring as this is new, but interesting to me.Yes, I will explore the Wi-Fi settings and more etc.
