Windows 10 Is there a sound setting in windows that auto lowers volume?

Hi,

Is there a limiter or AGC built into the Windows audio system that automatically lowers volume?

I'm working in abelton live and every few seconds the volume of different audio tracks seems
to be automatically lowering, someone suggested it might be a limiter or AGC.

Any info appreciated.

Only if you are recording with the default Windows sound tool...
